One evening on the barge we were on our own for dinner…..so we picked up 15 pizzas and shared them with the crew on the boat! Pizza never tasted so good…..
Pizza and a good bottle of red go perfectly together!
So, Maureen, Judy, David and I were walking back to the hotel from the town centre…..we passed a lovely young man carrying a box of fresh strawberries! “They look good” whispered Judy. The young man heard this and stopped and offered us all a tasting of the berries — a gift for his girlfriend. Yummy!!! What a sweet gesture!
What a treat…both the berries and the young French man!
We leave Dijon later today and then board Danielle, our barge -hotel for the next six nights. Great memories in Dijon…..We leave Dijon later today and then board Danielle, our barge -hotel for the next six nights. Great memories in Dijon…..
