So, Maureen, Judy, David and I were walking back to the hotel from the town centre…..we passed a lovely young man carrying a box of fresh strawberries!  “They look good” whispered Judy. The young man heard this and stopped  and offered us all a tasting of the berries — a gift for his girlfriend. Yummy!!!  What a sweet gesture!

In a tiny courtyard…..love the pink roses against the stone wall and the old well.  I brought my watercolour paint kit on the tour….I am no painter but I want to try and paint these….so French!!

On the outside wall of Notre Dame Church in historic Dijon is a stone owl…it is said if you rub it with your left hand and make a wish that your wish will come true…..let’s hope!   (I can’t tell you my exact wish but it involves the world and peace.  I know, I know ….wishful thinking.

Let’s hope my wish comes true!
