Sintra is filled with palaces and one of the prettiest to explore is the Monserrate Palace. We just about had the place to ourself. The palace is lovely but the gardens are stunning!

Sintra is very hilly…..VERY!  One of the ways to get from point A to B is by TUK TUK.  These tiny vehicles (some are gas driven and others are electric) make for an adventurous ride….bombing around narrow winding cobble streets was so much fun! The drivers make the journey even more interesting.

Art is in the eye of the beholder…from modern art to traditional. Here is just some of the art I have seen so far…..
