I live on a farm in the beautiful Northumberland Hills…..I love the fresh air, the solitude, the scenery BUT I hate the bugs…..mosquitoes are my enemy! I hate them!!!! This summer we finally screened in the porch and my life has changed!!! We sit in the porch and have dinner, we watch the fireflies at night fall, we enjoy a rain storm and no bugs to contend with.  I can even do my Great Escapes work in the porch -I am busy planning  a cycling tour in Perth, an adventure in the Maritimes featuring PEI and Iles de la Madeleine and in August a tour to my beloved Newfoundland….. Doesn’t even feel like work!

Can a simple thing make a big difference……Oh yes!
