It is Friday afternoon and I just finished teaching a class at college….I walked into my classroom and said “Good afternoon everyone”  but no one responded.                                     I looked out at my students —  all with their heads down looking at their phones…..no chit chat, no eye contact, no response.  Makes me yearn for the old days before cell phones and iPads……Sometimes it is just so nice to talk to someone!  Have a great weekend everyone and remember reach out to someone and have a chat!
